We celebrated a birthday here and had an absolute blast! The views of the mountains were amazing, and the cozy fire pit was perfect for evening gatherings. It really seemed like home in the beautiful double room, exceeding all my expectations from my previous stay in upson.

The location was pretty very nice, with nearby hiking trails making it easy to explore the outdoors. The friendly staff added a nice touch. The cozy fire pit was perfect for winding down after a day of hiking. The $25 surprise surcharge for amenities was frustrating. I expected straightforward pricing, and that fee should be included in the room rate. The coffee setup in the room could use some work. Those little packets were a hassle. Hard to open and messy. A bigger issue was the mattress. It lacked support. I woke up feeling sore and slept poorly, only getting about three hours of rest. The dead flies in the sheets were off-putting as well. For the price point, I expected better cleanliness and comfort.
